The factory Can am X3 shock tower brace leaves a ton to be desired. Under extreme the conditions these machines are continuously put through the factory braces are known for cracking, or buckling under stress. The Deviant brace is machined from a massive chunk of 6061 aluminum, and not only does it look awesome, it is extremely strong. Our added gusset plate ties the brace into the front bulkhead as it should be from the factory. The Factory style shock mounting is single shear meaning most of the shock pressure is being put on the side of the mounting bolt. Our gusset plate now makes the mount into a double shear being much stronger.
