There are 48 LEDs on the board, 24 LEDs work as a running light. The remaining LEDs turn on for a brake light and turn signal light. These bullet turn signals inserts are 1157 (dual-function) base connected to the wires to make the installation as easy as removing your existing bulb and plugging the new LED light in.
