This tool easily pumps up hydraulic lifters, using thin 5 or 10 weight motor oil or automatic transmission fluid to pump oil into the lifter side
feed hole to push all of the air out of the lifter internals. You will see air bubbles come out the top pushrod seat hole, Its best to work the oil back and forth from the side feed hole and back through the top pushrod seat hole to work all the air out. This will ensure the lifter is fully pumped up and will not run dry on initial start up.
