The heavy duty SW-MOTECH aluminum engine guard skid plate is designed to protect the heart of your motorcycle from damaging debris like logs and stones from wrecking havoc on your engine. Constructed using 3mm thick brushed aluminum and shaped to contour the most vulnerable sections of your engine (exhaust headers and lower casing); this skid plate surrounds it like armor.
Holes were laser cut into the design of the engine guard to allow for maximum ventilation to your motor. This skid plate is rubber mounted to reduce vibration. Bolt-on installation requires no drilling, cutting, welding or other modifications to your XSR900.
