When the headlights are off, the smoke kit looks deep gloss black. But, with the lights on, they shine right through; roughly 30% of the light is blocked so it is not recommended for nighttime use unless the stock H7 bulbs (1500 lumens) have been upgraded to HID (2800-3200 lumens)
No modifications necessary
The factory-color-matched kits can be used to replace either light for an endurance racing look or use them both for track days
