Conventional
This type of battery has flooded electrolyte and is very accessible. Periodic maintenance is required. Maintenance includes but is not limited to the addition of distilled water to proper level and trickle charging during storage. Water loss is a normal characteristic of this type of battery. Conventional batteries also tend to discharge more rapidly than AGM type batteries.
